We began the New Year with a Quality Conversation event on 13 January, organised by the Trust’s Clinical Governance team. Patients, Foundation Trust governors and members, and a wide range of staff took part to help choose our Quality Priorities for the next 12 months.

At the end of January, OUH Chief Executive Officer Dr Bruno Holthof, a Belgian citizen, recorded a personal video message for European staff working in the Trust to thank them for everything that they do. The message, on YouTube, was one of a number of supportive messages from OUH staff members and local MPs as the UK prepared to leave the EU on 31 January.

To further support our staff, with advice about housing in Oxfordshire, and to encourage potential applicants to move to the area, we are holding a second Homeward Property Fair on the John Radcliffe Hospital site on 29 February.

Also this month, we are delighted to welcome our new Chief People Officer, Terry Roberts, who took up his post on 10 February.

This week we have updated the information for the public on our website on Covid-19 (coronavirus).

Finally, if you visit our website – www.ouh.nhs.uk – before 28 February, please do take our five minute OUH Website Survey.
