A transplant patient at OUH was joined by two members of staff as they completed the Oxford Half Marathon on 13 October to raise money for the Oxford Young Adult Clinic (YAC).
Professor Robert MacLaren has been rewarded in the Clinical Service of the Year category in recognition of his exceptionally good practice in caring for people with macular disease.
Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon with Oxford Craniofacial Unit, Mr Jay Jayamohan, has been elected to the Council of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery.
Dr Nicola Curry and Dr Susie Shapiro were among the recipients of the new Clinical Academic Research Partnerships (CARPs), awarded by the Medical Research Council.
The awards organised by the NIHR Clinical Research Network Thames Valley and South Midlands (LCRN), celebrated the contribution of healthcare staff and patients to NHS, public health and social care research.
